Suzumiya Haruhi-chan 17 & 18

April 11, 2009

Super saiyan Tsuruya... Dragonball Kai?

Just when I thought they were going to stop the Haruhi-chan episodes because of the DVD production, here comes Haruhi-chan’s crazy thoughts that lead to flower viewing~

Cherry blossoms, petals falling… blood splattering.. dig a hole.. bury.. under the cherry blossom = lets have a flower viewing party!! And here is where Koizumi would generally come in and say “Sasuka Suzumiya-san desu ne~” (As expected of Suzumiya-san).

In fact, after Kyon hears how Haruhi reached this conclusion, he is utterly shocked and finds them all completely unrelated. Koizumi enters and is able to quickly analyze Haruhi’s chain of thoughts and comes to the same conclusion as her. Tsuruya comes in and says that she has the perfect place for this excursion and the group (minus Kyon) exclaim in excitement and Haruhi declares they go there next weekend.

When they do go there, Kyon is made to dig up the hole and gets help in the form of Mikuru, Tsuruya and Nagato playing and making sand sculptures? Needless to say, they were useless. Koizumi then comes to help and he has the assitance of a taxi driver who just happened to be in the area and a skydiver, who just happened to forget her parachute. A giant hole is created when Ms. Mori crash landed which Kyon has to take credit for as the two are classified to Haruhi.

All the credit goes to Kyon

There is something going on between Tsuruya and Koizumi’s side of the organization. Haruhi-chan’s plot is deepening! and yet fails to reveal anything important. =\ To be continued?

Tsuruya's mysterious phone call?

^ It doesn’t even look like it’s from this anime at all.

Episode 17:

Episode 18:

Churuya-san 09

To be honest… I have interest in this spin-off. It’s cute, but boring in my opinion.

I agree. I found it really weird at first, but it’s gotten better and more entertaining as it went along.
