Shakugan no Shana III to follow OVA(s)

Well, this is some good news. After yesterday’s Newtype revealing that it would only be an OVA series later this year, August’s edition of Animedia has written that the third season will follow the OVA(s).

Which pretty much is just their producer, Nakayama Nobuhiro, saying in an interview that they are using the OVA series as a way to further the background and character relationships in more detail before continuing on with the 3rd series.

I just hope that when they do start work on the 3rd season it will be nothing like how the 2nd season of Shana went. Please, please, please no fillers J.C. Staff. Or at least, don’t make half the season about Komoe Fumina or another useless character like last time.
