Otaku-eroge-cosplaying-Nagato: Suzumiya Haruhi-chan no Yuutsu!

Earlier this month Kadokawa released Suzumiya Haruhi-chan no Yuutsu. Now, I had expected this to be something like the Shana-tan, Index-tan and now more recently announced Taiga-tan videos done by J.C. Staff, but Haruhi-chan is quite a lot different from the “Urusai, urusai, urusai!”

Instead of it being a DVD extra, Kadokawa has released these directly onto Youtube. This along with another “-chan” Haruhi spinoff (Nyoron Churuya-san) are just random… as to be expected. It more or less exaggerates the original storyline and adds some more strange and wonderful Haruhi-ness to it. Haruhi-chan is orignal material while Churuya-san is more or less fan based material.

Nagato is an otaku, playing eroges and cosplaying; Haruhi is still as energetic and random; Mikuru becomes a jealous cosplay rival, Koizumi is… just like himself and Kyon is forever our solemn narrating protagonist.

This is all we’ll get until any real announcement of a Season 2… so I guess it’s best to take it and enjoy it while it’s here!
